Microlepia

This frost tender Fern is excellent for growing in shallow pots or hanging baskets in the house or sunroom. It has pale green, irregularly lance-shaped, finely divided fronds up to 32 inches in length. This Fern grows up to 3 feet high with a spread of 2 feet.

Pot Cultivation

This fern needs a minimum temperature of 40 degrees. In cool climates it should be grown indoors in moist, but not waterlogged, soil out of direct sunlight.

Propagation

Increase this plant by spores in the summer or division in the spring.
